Recognition for HypnoBirthing-Hoorah!

Some lovely news – The Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT – www.fedant.org) has now formally recognised HypnoBirthing® Practitioners.

FEDANT is the UK Regulator for providers of Antenatal Education and was established in accordance with the government white paper ‘Trust and Assurance, Regulation in the 21 st  Century’.

The primary reason for the existence of FEDANT is to protect the public by providing a National Register of validated professionals within the field of Antenatal Education. This provision extends to Antenatal Educators, Breastfeeding Counsellors, Doulas and Complementary Practitioners.

HypnoBirthing – The Mongan Method® is the ONLY hypnosis for childbirth programme that is seen to meet their criteria and no other hypnosis for birth method has been recognised as offering the same high standard of antenatal education as The Mongan Method.

This now puts HypnoBirthing on par with the NCT as a recognised antenatal training organisation.

I am really pleased that HypnoBirthing is receiving some much deserved recognition and am sure that this will increase confidence in choosing this complete birth and parenting course.  Parents can now be reassured that HypnoBirthing® will equip them with all the tools they will need for their journey.
